Even better, there are plenty of relatively inexpensive ones that could give that Cobra of yours some more bite. (If you're not concerned about keeping the car stock.)
Actually Z, I'd like to keep as close to stock as possible, though the only mod I have done to it is a fenderwell CAI.

Yeah Im sure he did this for all the lowballers, he probably priced it pretty fair at 14 but then people still want to haggle you down. Im sure he just raised it for that reason.

Checking out the pics link on svtperformance and the comments in this thread ... this rare red/grey cloth Cobra looks real clean inside and out but has been for sale for quite some time. And the seller first offered the car only two months after he bought it. This may not mean anything, but it's worth checking into.

I don' think the PS fender VIN sticker was painted over but it looks to have been tampered with and the VIN # is missing from it. The Cobra emblems are definitely too high, especially on the DS. (Based on how nice the paint looks in the pics + the emblem placement and that altered VIN sticker, I'd look real close into whether the car has been repainted.) Also, in addition to the mods mentioned in the ad, the thread mentions the car may have 4.10 gears and a different cam. The pics show that the radiator and spark plug wires are not original.

Hope this helps, Old School. Good luck.

The Vin sticker clearly has red over spray on it. But for his asking Price, I don't think you can go wrong.

Just saying with prices all over the place, if you're patient you can get a low mile car at a killer price.

Yup.

I do agree with Aaron though. $10kish is the bottom for a clean, mechanically sound, 100k Cobra. A few thousand more dollars puts you right into a Cobra with a lot less miles.......been that way for some time now.
