Selling a cobra to build a cobra clone? Am I missing something here? He wants a teal one, why not just paint his teal? Something is not right here

Why would a paint a black cobra teal? When I have half the money in a GT? If a painted the cobra it wouldnt be worth anything. It would only improve the GT car. I picked up a complete 93 cobra kit for the GT. so I figured that was the best way to go. I love the looks of a teal on black car. Well I wouldn't paint a black car teal, and you said nothing about making a track car, you simply said you wanted to sell yours for a cobra clone so try and understand why someone might be a little confused. As far as making a track car there are lots of people who have made their cobra's track cars and it doesn't really hurt the value as long as you do it right. To me it sounds like you just want a teal car and if selling your black cobra to make a teal "clone" is what you want well that's entirely up to you.JDB 84 wrote:Thanks willyb93 for posting the car!

Black 1993 Mustang Cobra
I bought the car from South Carolina. Has ZERO rust and no under coating.
ALL New grey Leather interior from Late Model Restorations.
New grey carpet.
New Black headliner and sun visors. No mirrors on the visors.
Wheels perfect, no curb rash.
New clutch.
Engine rebuilt using ARP studs on the heads and mains caps. ARP Rod bolts.
Transmission rebuilt same time engine was rebuilt. New syncros, and rings. New clutch fork. New bearing retainer.
Smog pump deleted.
Electric fan
New Headlights
New Foglights
Sunroof car.
Ford CD Player.
Windows tinted.
2 small dents in the car. One on the passenger rear infront of gas door and other on passenger roof where the a-pillar meets the roof.
