Next I pulled the car out and sprayed the bottom of the engine/tranny with engine degreaser and water:
Bottom cleaned:
Back in the air conditioned garage to troubleshoot a stereo problem... Replaced the amp with another which confirmed the problem is in the head unit... Will get fixed.
Interior all back to normal:
After a day of working on it, my son and I took it for a ride to the grocery store.
