Re: 1993 Limited Yellow and Black LX
[quote="noacwas surpised this car didn't sell. I thought you were asking 14k obo? I see it had a top bid of 14.3k. A month ago a similar car(auto) with 10k miles on orig. tires only got 12.9k.

I've seen that car and watched it, I will see what happens, I should have dropped the reserve a little more.

Re: 1993 Limited Yellow and Black LX
Willy, why didn't you have the reserve set to 14k, that would have been good money for that car. 14.3k was strong $$$. The hardest part is collecting that money on eBay. Best of luck, I'm sure you know what you're doing. Tom, that 12.9k with 10k miles, was pretty sweet! Only thing I didn't like was the paint prep work done to the engine compartment, looks like the intake plenum and valve covers were painted, probably not the best thing to do on a low mileage unrestored car like that one. And that undercarriage, is definitely not up to your standards

Re: 1993 Limited Yellow and Black LX
The car with 10k miles is still for sale, it never sold, Gillingham Ford has the car. I have never painted anything on the car, I'm sure the original owner didn't touch it either, surprised he knew how to open the hood. I have been slacking on the undercarriage, it won't take much I'm sure, it is on my list of things to hit once the weather gets a little better.VA93SVT wrote:Willy, why didn't you have the reserve set to 14k, that would have been good money for that car. 14.3k was strong $$$. Re: 1993 Limited Yellow and Black LX
Willy, I was referring to the other car, not yours. It's a testament of how nice yours is that it fetched such excellent bidding to 14.3! Best of luck.

Re: 1993 Limited Yellow and Black LX
i thought it sold for like 13k?
Re: 1993 Limited Yellow and Black LX
? Had a few tire kickers, no contact after the run on eBay the last couple times. I'm not too worried about it, I can keep the car for awhile also.dbrennancobra wrote:how has this not sold?
