I contacted Cal Chrome and they said its $750 including the return shipping to chrome my wheels. I think I am going to consider this option as it looks to be hard to find nice OE wheels. Thanks for the help fellas.

Ok. That's good. I just didn't want to invest $750 in chrome if they were only going to be worth half that in the end.

Mint condition OEM wheels will probably fetch around 1K. You'd probably break even w/chrome dipped.

Would I bet better off to just have the powdercoat stripped and paint back to OEM correct color? I just don't need the wheels but want to make the best of them with correcting the black paint with chrome or original finish or selling them.

Since you don't need the wheels, you're better off trying to sell them as is. You're likely to make more $$ that way rather than trying to sell after paying to remove the powdercoat and either dipping in chrome or re-painting in the original finish.

OR ....

Have just the center caps dipped in chrome for that unique 'Cobra-R' look.
