thinking of putting a term motor in

Post by nolimit89stang »

i blew up the motor in my teal/black inter car and have been looking at putting a 04 cobra motor in it. what do you guys think. the car currently has a 70mm turbo so i really need to either build a motor or try something new. i've done this swap on a couple of fox cars and for me it's a pretty easy job, and it can be changed back if i need to but i just can't make up my mind if i want to do that to my car.

i know these pics aren't very clear but you get the idea. this is a car i built for a guy on a very little money so it could have been cleaner but he wouldn't spend the money. if i do mine it will be much cleaner

The owner of http://modularfox.com/ has a Black '93 Cobra with a '03 motor in it. There is information on the site about the car and other fox body swaps.

I think it'd be sweet in a GT... but Cobra... eh.... but really not to a teal/black!!

Is there a writeup anyone has done on how to do this? Might spark my interest on my GT if its easy enough.

Would be pretty cool I think. Like you said, it's easily changed back to stock, you're not cutting anything up. Least you're keeping with the Cobra theme. But ultimately, comes down to it being your car and how you want it. Good luck. If you decide to do it, keep us posted!
