It's really nice of them to use my last day or days on my R ad, as a leader for their car, I wouldn't resort to that, but they are a dealer, and want to unload the car.........all is fair in love and car sales........The car is priced to sell below 50K on an offer basis, so it's an attractive deal.......If you could buy it for 45K or so, it would be a good deal.....BUT inspect before purchasing.....Track time scares me off on these cars......I was told they have no documentation other than window sticker....

Traction control???? Vinyl seats???? Rear bench seat??? Does this guy even know what he's selling???Price Reduced! THIS COBRA R HAS 1,855 ACTUAL MILES. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN STORED INDOORS AND NEVER SEEN BAD WEATHER WHICH IS EVIDENT BY THE PICTURES BELOW. THE CAR IS STOCK AND COMES WITH THE WINDOW STICKER. IT HAS SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE IN STORAGE, I WAS TOLD THE CAR WAS ON A TRACK A HANDFULL OF TIMES. THE WHEELS AND TIRES ARE LIKE BRAND NEW BECAUSE ANOTHER SET WAS USED ANYTIME IT WAS TRACK DRIVEN. 4-Wheel Disc Brakes, AM/FM Stereo, Bucket Seats, Cassette, Cloth Seats, Driver Adjustable Lumbar, Driver Air Bag, Driver Illuminated Vanity Mirror, Driver Vanity Mirror, Front Reading Lamps, High Output, Intermittent Wipers, Leather Steering Wheel, Pass-Through Rear Seat, Passenger Adjustable Lumbar, Passenger Air Bag, Passenger Illuminated Visor Mirror, Passenger Vanity Mirror, Power Steering, Rear Bench Seat, Rear Defrost, Temporary Spare Tire, Traction Control, Vinyl Seats

What would a little track time bother if a little Patina wouldn't bother you on the other car? It was tracked very little so what, that's what they were built for and probably got driven just as hard on the street. From what I hear it can be bought in the mid 40 range. I have seen the car and it is nice.

Re: Cobra R 1800 miles #88 $57,500 OH
There is a difference between a few small defects on a 61-mile Cobra R and track-time on a 1800-mile example....People that buy and track cars of any kind, are not as concerned about future value or condition as they are with driving the car....I can certainly agree with that, and would love to have 2 CARS, one for investment and one for scorching the track with......In my case, I concentrate on investment-grade examples, and certainly wouldn't fault anyone buying these cars for track use.....Again, it's a personal decision-nothing wrong with going to either extreme..........I prefer not to describe either decision by the end-user as "right or wrong".....I privately do hope every other owner of the 93R models take them to a nice gravel-strewn track and beat the crap out of them.......Improves the value of mine long-term...!!!! (just joking!!!!?????)

Yea he's not taking mid 40's on that car yet. I've offered 45 and 48 he said no both times. He almost talked me into trading my 66 in on it. Nice car thoSPEEDFREEK wrote:What would a little track time bother if a little Patina wouldn't bother you on the other car? Not surprised, he has $50.5k into it before transport, and sitting on it for months. For what ever reason I thought it had bounced a couple times between dealers before Ohio and after Twinvipers sold it. Hence potentially adding to the funds invested, and lack of interest in selling for more of a loss. What I talked to them a while ago, $53 was the rock bottom. More motivated now.

I wouldn't offer more on this car with the track issues, unless you drive it, inspect for replacement parts etc....etc...etc....I personally agree that 45-48K would be the range that this car should sell for........and if more damage or replacement parts are found on inspection, I might go lower......just an opinion.......

Its not a steal at 51 or it would be gone. Even the previous owner told me he was lucky to move it for what he did and the market has dropped since then. IMO its a 40k car 45 max.

Thank you at least I'm not the only one who has seen the car in person and know that the track time hasn't totaled it. If I were in the market for an R it would be a documented raced car. I think they will be worth the most down the road just because there weren't many that were used for their actual purpose.JohnLynch wrote:I looked at the car in person when I went up to see twins car collection and its nice.
