buying this car. Clean carfax, Paperwork comes with the car, I just didn't see it in the registry. I'm a fng, but I take it the registry is incomplete and I just need to add this car?

Anyone know info on this car?

118k miles. No pics yet.

Has corbeau seats now but comes with the originals as well.

I'm pumped!

Get some close ups of the roof, it might be aftermarket or a factory sunroof grafted in? your vin doesnt show the sunroof option 13C.

Well it has a sunroof now. I took it out to look at the drain chanels when I was test driving it, and it looks and functions the exact same as the sunroof in my first fox body (a 89 GT). So I assumed its original, or it could be that both the ones I'm familiar with are the same aftermarket one, but that seems unlikely.

I saw the window sticker and SVT certificate and letter, as well as a whole box of paperwork but I didn't study it thoroughly as the wife was waiting in the truck...

That's one of the reasons I was looking for the vin in the registry, as I usually do that with all the Cobras I look at ( I've looked at half a dozen over the past 9 months before deciding to buy this one ).

picking it up Sunday.

Run a Carfax on it, make sure all vin decals are in place, and make sure the window sticker is real and not a reproduction.

Also, check the tag (on drivers door) to see if there is a C under the S near the bottom right of the tag. Cobras with factory sunroofs will have a C in this location of the tag.

And 1993cobra I did check all the places I know of vin tags, (underside of each door, inner fenders, hatch, under rear bumper, and hood). Anywhere else?

Carfax came up clean, just changes in ownership and maintenance. A few failed emissions but always followed by passing tests.
