Most dont know that about the teals. And for some reason it is mainly the teals. My red has done it a little but nothing like my teal. I never drive my car and still have to wax the oil off the mouldings every so often.CHRIS-1993 COBRA wrote:Thank you SPEEDFREEK....
I didn't know that and now I do!!!
I didn't mean to critisize Trackpilot or his car in any way. It appears Super Clean!!!

I use castrol purple cleaner, spray it on and watch the black just roll off, have a water hose handy, cause you don't want the purple cleaner to sit on the nice paint too long, they will clean up like new. Thinner works to, but it is hard to get in all the corners,SPEEDFREEK wrote:All the mouldings on teal do that. Just take some thinner on a rag and clean them and the come back perfect. Just put a coat of wax on them after you clean.
Make sure you use the castrol cleaner, it works the best. It's in a purple spray bottle at autozone.

You should pick it up ChrisCHRIS-1993 COBRA wrote:Are they just dirty? Because those moldings don't look like they belong to such a clean car otherwise.CHRIS-1993 COBRA wrote:Why is that? Are the moldings on the doors a different material than the front and rear side moldings?Yeah the side mouldings are notorious for doing that...
