I myself em tired of smelling like a pit crew and think going to put catted H pipe on just to tone it down a bit plus my flowmasters are old and to LOUD.
Just by adding the catted h-pipe your going to tone it down and loose that smell.
If I didn't have the issues I was having with my American Thunder kit and the new h-pipe I would not have gotten a new catback. But I needed a kit with the flow pipes not welded to the mufflers, and I didn't want the sound of the SLP and didn't want the tips of the Magnaflow so this DynoMax kit was the only one out there. By the time I would of paid a muffler shop to fab up what I needed my old catback to do, with the price I paid for the new DynoMax kit, the $75.00 rebate, the money I got for my old kit, I couldn't beat it. Plus I had an extra $25.00 credit at Summit.
I am much happier with the sound of my car now than I ever was with the Flowmaster catback. It sounds less cocky, which could also translate into obnoxious haha. The car sounds more toned, and has a very nice deep sound under wide open throttle. Plus the look of the stainless mufflers under the car is a nice "show" touch. Make no mistake about it, its not quiet...but its not too loud either.
Give me some time, I will have a sound clip up. I am back forth with work and watching my friends house for them for a week or so. When I have the time I will post a sound clip.
