First off, I apolozie of this has been covered before I searched here and google and got nothing, continueing. . . .
I am looking into up grading the calipers on my cobra, I was looking into the Baer 87-93 Mustang 14" Front Extrm Plus Brake Kit (4 Lug)
http://www.lethalperformance.com/86-93- ... 4-lug.html
I have two questions (I am sure someone else has done this before)
1) Are there any fit issues? I know the GT and cobra are slightly different in suspension and wheel offset. (I currenty run 17x9 cobra R's)
2) (if fits correctly) Will it give me a GT offset? I really like the way my cars sets wheel wise wih stock set up and would not like to lose that.
Thank you for your time and knowledge

Baer 4 lug brakes on 93 cobra

Guess you need to inquire with them (Lethal) on the offset question. My guess is these rotors don't have the thicker hat that the Cobra's have. You may have to use a spacer.
That sure is big $$ for what comes in the kit.

Let me get this straight...
You have a 93 Cobra with 4-lug Cobra R wheels and you are considering dropping $3500 on a 4-lug front brake upgrade?
Why not convert to 5-lug? IMHO, it will be a more desireable upgrade in terms of value and would open the door to many other wheel choices. You could do the entire conversion with new wheels and tires for less than $3500...
