93R #62 Made it Home
Well after 2 weeks of Being on Edge about this car. It is Finally home, WITH THE ORIGINAL MOTOR.
He was able to find it, He was not sure what to look for on the Block which was the main reason I drove out to pick it up. When I arrived I showed him the last 6 of the Vin# he sai WOW they match, now the price is more, Just Kidding he said. I did offer him the Blue Sparco seat, Which he wated. So a sparco seat for a matching VIN Block, well worth it. He said it was Pulled at around 4 to 500 Mile mark for a balanced 302. I Just for in late, Anyone interested in Posting pics? I will send them to you. I still haven't figured out how to do this yet. Car has 1900 Miles and is in Very Nice shape for Being a Prior SCCA race car for 2 Seasons. I found only 1 SMALL Ding, and a Few Battle scratches., Now do I remove the cage??

Congrats Aaron. The car looks like a great find. I hope to see it in person some day. Definately a piece of 93 Cobra history. I would say a minority of the 93R's were actually professionally raced, which in my opinion makes this particular car more valuable. Sounds like only some minor cosmetic touchups are needed and pop the motor back in. Keep the cage
Do you have any photo's from it being raced?

"the complete Motor, is the one out of Project Stolen goods, the teal cobra is 4993, ALL ORIGINAL, However I did Buff the car and remove the window tint, I also painted the wheels and Put NOS gatorbacks on it. Other than that I have done nothing to it. The car is Mint, and almost as nice as my 45 mile car. Thanks for posting the pics. Kris is a really nice guy, heck he even took me to lunch, and found the original Block with 400 or so miles on it."

400 RACE MILES, LOL. It has a little carbon on the tops of the pistons, not much though, a few of the pistons have some scratches from being moved around for the last 12 years. But it is a very clean block. The car only has 1900 miles on it.
