it has the wrong valve covers on it, will the crane "cobra" rockers fit under them? my guess as usuall its not a real cobra engine.

The 1.7's will fit under those valve Covers, You have to clearence a few spots with a Grinder and cut the Baffel out. I am sure it is a GT motor with all the cobra parts on it. Not a bad Price though at 1000 OBO. It is has all the correct parts. IMO

Those aluminum 5.0 valve covers came in two styles, early and late (not sue of the cutoff, I think it was '92) and the late versions have different baffles and the inside ribs removed. These will clear the Crane Cobra 1.7s, the early ones need to be modified.
