I just received the information below from "aaronlstiles" who is more knowleadgeable about this than I am so I wanted to update those interested in the wheels:
"These are 94/95 GT wheels that someone Painted to look like 93R wheels, the Genuine wheels are Spun aluminum on the inside of the rim, and also behind the centercap where the lug nuts go"
I checked the wheels and the lip of the wheels is spun aluminum. Its not just a smooth unfinished or polished surface; you can see the smooth machined surface. Unfortunately the pictures do not show this...
Just trying to post as much information as possible to those intersted in them.
I think the term you and aaron are looking for is Machined not "spun". these wheels are cast aluminum, an aluminum bowl would be "spun" cause it is thin and can be sun on a lathe.
Even the 94/95 Trispoke wheel had a Machined aluminum lip, Ford painted over it. This makes it easy to make them look like R wheels. The actual 93R wheels will have a F3ZZ part Number Sticker by the lugnuts. I will send pictures of my 93R wheel if someone will post it up. Thanks
