cobra exhaust

Have a cobra that is need of new mufflers and tailpipes. would like to get original or new but would like to be 2.25 inch. What is out there that other cobra owners have used. thanks

Dynomax makes the best tail pipes, However you need 1 Inch Longer rubber hangers as they are meant for LX cars. this will have them fit perfect, I just put a set on, shoot me an e-mail address and I will send you some pics of how they fit.

If you can find a set, '96-'98 Cobra is a bolt-on, fits perfect, clears the rear cover like factory, and is 2.25" except for the ends of the tail pipes, which flare out to almost 2.75". They look really good with the bigger tips, and still look factory.

You sure those will work?? I have a set on my 79 PaceCar, and they barely clear the rear cover on my 79 Rear cover. They are 98 Cobra rears

yes i did this on my first 93 cobra back in 97. they fit perfect and have a smash spot right where the tire normally rubs.

I just bought new exhaust for my 96, so now I just got the idea to take the old and put it on the 93. Spin Tech Mufflers, but we'll see how it fits and what kind of sound it makes come winter/spring time.

I have Dynomax on mine, been there for years. Bassani X pipe w/ high flow cats and Mac shorty headers as well.
