Teal Opal for sale #4676

Post by big frank »

1993 SVT Cobra #4676 or 4993 -- Teal metallic, Opal gray leather

I am the second owner of this car. I purchased it about 2.5 years ago from a lady near Sacramento. The car has 66,000 original

miles on it, of which I put 32,000 of these miles on myself. This car is a blast to drive, it would be a shame for it to sit in a

garage like it did for most of it's first 14 years.I bought the car in stock condition, except for the cat back exhaust

The car is California Smog legal. It passes the visual, and is cleaner on the sniffer than it was stock. It is smogged and

registered, and will come with a fresh smog when purchased. It has a clean Carfax. The car runs strong and cool. The air blows

cold and still has R-12 in it. I have maintenance records from the day I bought it that will come with the car. I also have some

origional paperwork, SVT certificate, original letter from SVT, an original sales flier and other paperwork showing the car is

what it is. This car came stock with some upgraded parts that the GT didn't, and will be noted.

A list of mods are below. Most of the work I did myself. A couple of them I had done like the rear gears,as I didn't have the

correct tools to do them.

Drivetrain

Kenne Bell 2.1L Blowzilla at 8psi (rated to 18psi)
FRPP 42# injectors
75mm Accufab polished throttle body
C&L 76mm intake system with polished elbow and '93 Cobra electronics
AIS water/meth injection system. Stealth mounted (95% installed)
Taylor plug wires
Blue Oval oil separator
2 core aluminum radiator

Stock long block
World Class T-5 tranny (stock)
Trac-Lock (stock)
Stock H-pipe and cats
Car has all factory options except sun roof

Other Mods

Hurst Billet Plus SST shifter
FRPP 3:55 rear end gears
Flowmaster cat-back exhaust
Maximum Motorsports XL full length sub frame connectors
Maximum Motorsports 4 point K-frame support
New Tokico Blue struts and shocks (uninstalled as of yet)
Autometer Phantom II gauges on A-pillar mount-- Mech.oil pressure, Boost, Fuel pressure
Motes Quarterhorse tuner (tunable via laptop with a USB port) and engine monitoring
Data-Q data logger (USB)
255lph fuel pump
Running on stock size Sumitomo HTRZ II tires
130 amp alternator upgrade with HD wire harness
Kenwood head unit with remote

Overall condition

Paint is good, though has a spot or two low on the front valence that could be touched up
All original paint except for the rear bumper cover which I had painted as it had a ugly spot on it when I bought it
driver's seat had a small spot where the leather has pulled through the stitching, about 1/2" long, balance of interior is nice
Hood has some heat checking at the front near the latch.
Car has always lived in the garage. I do not take it out when the weather is bad. Not a hint of rust anywhere or damage anywhere
I'm sure I'm forgetting something and will add them when I think of them

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I live in Red Bluff and am home usually in the evenings.

Interestingly, I do not have many photos of the car except for at car shows. When the weather is better, I will bring her out and

get lots of shots and add them. When I do, I will post here.

I really don't want to have to do the Ebay thing, so I'm going to put her on a few Mustang sites first, then Ebay if I have to.

Price: $17,000

Car looks clean........gotta love those California cars.

Ya, avoid the Ebay thing at all costs unless your willing to give it away. Not much moves over there, if anything. The last two 93's I saw sell on there were both stockers with under 20k on the odometer and both sold in the $15k range. Rough market to be selling.

I may consider a driver Fox body of some kind as a partial trade. I'm really looking for a Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee, so I would be interested in a partial trade there also.
