The people who bash teal are just jealose. it will always be the coolest 93 cobra color because it is the rarest of the 3 and could not be had on a GT or LX like Black and Vibrant could. My next one is going to be vibrant now that I have a keeper teal carrolltide93 wrote:Yeah i am really coming around on the vibrant red cars now that I have one but I really would like a teal one in the future. Everyone I talk to who really doesnt care either way about these cars says "the teal is ugly, its so 90's", and I reply on cue with "thats why they are so cool, it was the color of the time and it represents perfectly what the car represented at the time".

I agree, I would really like to own a teal car. And to be fair Most everyday people think they are just regular fox mustangs anyway, so it doesnt bother me when people dont know what the car is. Thats what I like about it, the few and far between conversations where someone wants to talk who actually knows what they are and the rarety.

thank you, I think so too. It's not by any means perfect there are some small paint scratches that the last owner used touch up paint on and the door lock power switches dont work and the front fenders and hood have been repainted due too someone backing into it in a parking lot and the tape player buttons did not work at all but I replaced that with a factory cd player so no biggie, and it has 114,000 on the odometer but it runs great and everything that has been done was done right and it is not totally customized. The last owner really new what he had and appreciated the car. I saw other ones on craigslist and ebay going for more money that were not in as good of shape. One teal car even had a salvaged title and was going for $9500 so not too bad.

Heck, I paid $8500 for my red one back in 02', took a bunch of crap off of it and sold that. Car had 105k on it when I bought it. It had the whole front clip replaced after a railroad crossing incident, but overall the car was is really good condition. It's tough to find ones that aren't ratted out, or a bunch of stupid chit done to them.
It was perfect for what I was wanting to do, IE blower, motor, etc.

yeah unfortunately in this market and the fact that 93's are becoming rarer the seller has the advantage. The guy I bought it from told me when I was on my 400 mile drive to socal to pick it up he had 2 calls offering more than I was paying. I didn't even talk him down.
