Alright so I said I would keep you guys updated on this teal but I have to admit I kept all the info to myself, that is of course until now. I just got back from a 700 mile round trip where I secured the purchase of this Cobra (don't know the number).
Turns out this is a Teal, no sunroof, gray leather, 63k (original miles), clean title, all vin tags present, and ORIGINAL OWNER (he is 69 yrs old). Some of the modds he did were k&n air filter, headers, sub frame conn., control arms, and shocks. So for the most parts this cobra is pretty much original. I didn't even try to talk him down on his asking price of $13.5 because he had so much history to go along with the car and lets be honest its a good price. I am picking the car up next week and I think I am going to drive it the 330 miles back to where it will contine to be garage kept for another 20 or so years.

Thanks guys.
He has the original window sticker too but he can't find the svt cert. and he has several records for the car. The Cobra was garaged until recently when his son moved back into the house and took the entire garage up with his stuff, so its been parked out front for the last two weeks. Soon as I get all the info on the car I will provide it to the registry.

I plan to go to some shows this year so maybe I will see you there? I might make it out to Hot August Nights in Reno this year. As for the drive home I am going to take the I-5. There is another guy on here(rolltide93) he lives in the same city I live in "Manteca", so I know I will see him around.

I know it has teal/leather/no sunroof, cd, and power seat. I think it has rear defrost too. I can't wait to see how much attention it will draw on the drive back up.Mike S. wrote:Congrats, beautiful car. Looks like a near identical twin to mine, mine being Teal/leather/no roof/no defrost/CD/power seat. I've only seen two identically equipped in all these years. You'll love the drive home, and probably the attention too.
