Any idea what the plug is under the left panel, by where the drivers left knee would be? Part of the cruise control? Looks like some sort of OBD plug.

i think i might have seen one or two of those back in the day (im an installer )

a good thief can/will get by that anyday

all it really is basically is a relay and interupting the starter wires at the IGN column ....if all your ACC and stuff come on just no crank then all you have to do is push start the car and pop the clutch :D

Or you could just jump the solenoid to start the car too. We better not give anyone any ideas.

Don't worry I haven't taken my chip out since I've owned mine. Too much of a pain in the ass, you can't put it on your key ring cause you just have to pull it off everytime you start the car. I would get it removed it's just that it's out of site out of mind.

You know, Im not much for red. But, if it had blk interior. The price that it sit at right now of #13,8 makes it very attractable.

Cruise control

Post by cobrabc1993 »

I had a teal and a red 93cobra that had been daily driver commuter cars.. They both had a similar type "aftermarket" cruise control system installed on them..... They both worked extremely good.... Actually better than the original cruise systems on the 93gt mustangs.... Plus they were a clean install, because they were totally electronic.... no vacuum lines or vacuum reservoirs that had to be added and installed, and you didnt have to change your steering wheel. They had a nice control handle/switch that mounted under your turn signal switch, about where a tilt lever would be, if 93 cobras would have had a tilt steering column.....

Yea pretty strong for 70k on it. The thing that helped it was one owner all the paperwork and the cleanliness of the car.

I didn't think it was going to bring that, I figured it was going to hang strong around 14K.

I really liked this one. If my coupe was sold I would have been right in the middle of the bidding war. I wouldn't have gone quite that high though. I honestly thought it would go somewhere in the $13k range myself.
