It's just one of those common problems with these cars, I would say plan for a full day of work if you have never taken a dash apart. You might just end up being on a cleaning frenzy also. It's not too bad just some hidden screws here and there.

That sucks. Feel for ya though... been awhile since I have pulled a dash off on a Fox. The last time was In the race car . Wasn't to bad I recall.

Not the most existing thing to be doing..GL though

I did one on my old 91 GT and all I did was google it and it gave me step by step instructions. Kind of a pain if you don't know all the little bolts to pull out, was a piece of cake. That was about 6 years ago so I'm sure their is a lot more stuff on it now.

Did mine in about 3 hours. You don't have to remove the dash, just loosen everything up and pry it out enough to get to it.

Yeah I found a few good step by step directions online. Figured it would be handy to have. And it's funny you mention selling mine because I think I am going to put it on the block this month (maybe next) and look for a red one. If I bought yours it would be the second car I cut the same tailpipes off of which would be a first for me :D that is if they are on it yet.
Well if u decide to sell J .... Let me know. Was kinda waiting until next year in jumping into an all out search for a blk/blk/sunroof car to go with my teal. But if one comes along before hand. May have to go for it.

J you don't have to drop the column, I just pulled all the bolts on the dash and lowered it about a foot, don't even need to pull the dash out.

Yep. I was able to pull out the passenger side enough to wedge a block in there to access everything. Wasn't bad at all. Better than a clutch swap.
