Does anyone know what the first month of production was for the 93 cobra?

The wrecked car I just picked up the door tag says 1-93. My teal car is #574 and it was built in 2-93. I'm going to call SVT tomorrow with the vin for the black one and find out some info on it.

Then maybe I'll get around to getting both cars in the registry.

Info from the SVT Cobra Recognition Guide

"The first Cobra released to the public (#19, #129858) was built on December 17, 1992. This was a Vibrant Red car with grey cloth trim. Production ended on June 28, 1993. The last two Cobras (#198152 and #213247) were both finished in Teal with gray leather interiors.
The first three Cobras (#100016 (black) and #100107 (Vibrant Red) and #100018 (Vibrant Red) were actually built on August 4, 1992. These were crash-tested and dismantled. The first two of these also have the distinction of being equipped with the Super Sound System.
Another batch of 18 cars was built during October 7 - 9, 1992. Most of these were used for testing purposes but a few eventually found their way to the public through Ford's employee sales program"

More then what you asked for, but we can never have enough info on our cars. Hopefully someday the Late Tom Shreiner's updated book will be published. Has even more good info then the first one.

Thanks! Looks like this car must be in the 300-400 range someplace. I'll let everyone know what I find out from SVT tomorrow.

I called them and it's car #66!

I called 800-FordSVT and it worked just like it always has.

#66 and you got it totaled? what a shame.
