1993 cobra value

Post by YoungRob »

What do you think a low mileage 1993 cobra will be worth in another 10 years? Mustangs have a history of not holding their value to well.

the 93's are going up in value without a doubt

do alittle searching online...ebay...other car selling sites and see what people are asking...

ill leave it up to the collector gurus to say what they think they will be worth 10 years from now...but there is no doubt that they are going up and will continue to do so...

alot of it depends on modifications, all original, miles, condition etc etc...

I think they will go up. It depends on how original the car is. I am looking at one next weekend for $21,500. I would pay the extra money to have a mint one rather than fix it up. I just dont have the time. A friend of mine just sold a red, gray leather with 6k for $22,500.

I have always loved that style. Last fox, first svt. I dont care how much it is worth on paper, it is what you are willing to pay for a car you love!

So you think it's worth it to buy a 93 cobra that's not so mint and fix it up a little? I'm looking at one not too far from my house that has 116,000 miles on it. It needs a little work but not much. The guy wants 12k for it.

Sounds a little high on price, but as long as its in GREAT condition, and exactly what you want, they go for it. Just remember, if you want something super clean with lower mileage, another 2-3K, and you can have it.

That sounds a little high in price to me too.

I just recently picked up this one. It has 107,000 on it and needs a few things but the interior is excellent IMO. I paid $8,000 for it, just to give you a reference.

I paid 12.2k for mine with just under 34,000 miles in it and it was a 1 owner. There are plenty of nice cars out there for 12-15K right now.
93 Cobra, Kenne Bell 2.1L, 42# injectors, 76mm C&L MAF and inlet tube, MM sub frames & K-brace, Hurst SST shifter, Moates QuarterHorse, DataQ, BE/EA tuning software, Flowmaster cat backs, Autometer gauges.

Damn you, I would pay 10K for that in a second, let alone 8K.
