A guy on SVTperformance sold a car just like that a few years ago and I was hooked! I am basically looking for a car like this blower or no blower. Anyone on here now own this car?
You have good taste, svtrookie. While I don't own the Cobra in question, I own a black with 95R wheels and the following mods -

Vortech V-2 SQ (10 lbs boost), Vortech T-Rex external fuel pump, Edelbrock 255 lph in-tank pump, FRPP 42#/hr fuel injectors, K&N conical filter (80mm MAF), BBK long tube headers, BBK off-road H-pipe, Flowmaster 40s, Flowmaster 2.5" tailpipes, Steeda caster/camber plates, Tokico adjustable front struts & rear shocks, Bilstein rear axle dampers, Steeda upper/lower rear control arms, FRPP aluminum driveshaft, Pro 5.0 shifter, FRPP 3.55 gears, Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires, Taylor 409 Pro Race spark plug wires, MSD blaster coil, Fluidyne performance radiator, slotted front brake rotors, Steeda full-length welded subframe connectors, BBK strut tower-cowl brace, Autometer gauges plus other interior mods.

Its an absolute blast to drive and the car handles and stops extremely well. It also surprises many late-model Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, etc. Even better are the surprised looks I get from owners of Porsches, BMWs, Audis and other luxury rides. I'll post a few pics later.

I guess your father in law hasn't read the part of the 2013 owners manual regarding the launch control yet. Once he figures that feature out, you're in trouble.
I set it up for him! It still fries the tires even with it on. I put ~100 miles on the car before the weather turned. It drives really nice, the brakes are the best I have ever tired to lock up and the recaro seats are awesome. However so is the price tag! I'll stick with my 93's.
I don't blame you. Although, I'm gonna have to try to convince my friendly local Ford dealer to let me test drive the red 2013 GT500 they have in the showroom!

At one time I planned on putting those kind of rims on my Cobra, though they look good, I'll stick with the originals

Nothing wrong with that. I kept my original wheels in case I ever wanted to go back to a stock exterior appearance. I've been tempted a few times to sell the set ... mint condition wheels and caps bring good $$, but I can't bring myself to get rid of them.

Thanks. The car has a little over 46K miles. This car is a keeper ... I'm having way too much with it to consider selling. 8)
