J, I recently started getting an itch for a boat everyone keeps telling me the best day of your life getting a boat is the day you sell it....I have lived right near the ocean my whole life and I have yet to get out on the water except an occasional day trip of a friend of a friends boat. You owned one?

I wasn't saying don't buy a boat jut don't buy a new one. If you think new cars lose value when you drive them off the lot boats are horrible when it comes to that. Just but one used and deep and you'll be fine. With that said I have many friends that have boats an rv's that rarely use them and regret getting them and a few others that use them all the time and will never be without. Just plan on using it often and enjoying your purchase if you pick one up.

Every single person I know that had a boat, didn't stick with it long. Lake of the Ozarks is huge here in the midwest, but unless you live on the lake or own a lake house, owning a boat just for that becomes a pain. The Missouri is just a few miles away, but rough on boats........water looks like chocolate milk.

That being said, if I was young and single again with some extra dough, a boat would definitely be in the picture becuase of this:

john this is not the best way... adding a phone number works better. just saying. anyways the add looks GREAT!

Wish I could but when I do I get all these scammers texting and calling me. They even call at 4AM!

I would get a Google Voice number or a "burner" phone. That way you can turn the number off once you've sold the car. I always give the seller my real number once I've verified they aren't a spammer.

Google Voice numbers are free and work great.
