Dustin, there are many different aftermarket exhaust options available for the LX. When you say "aftermarket exhaust" are you referring to tailpipes only or mufflers and pipes or h-pipe, mufflers and pipes?

Speed, does your answer apply to tailpipes only or to any of the above scenarios?
I'm guessing that if you leave the stock cats, H-pipe and mufflers in place on a Cobra, you can install aftermarket tailpipes designed for an LX by lengthening the hangers. However, I know from experience that some aftermarket exhaust components designed for an LX are not direct fits on a Cobra and installing tailpipes designed for an LX on a Cobra in that situation will require more than just lengthening the hangers.

I was speaking in general. I have never had a problem with any aftermarket exhaust I've put on a Cobra other than the hanger. Whether it be just a cat back or an entire system. I've used Mac, Flowmaster, Dynamax, Borla, to name a few and never any fitment issues other than the hanger. I use to know a part # for a hanger that autozone sells in the help section that was the exact length needed but with old age comes forgetfulness lol.
