Looks like a dealer had this one for sale back on 30MAR2004 and reported the mileage at 164,326...... Not to start a shit storm as we all know carfax is never guaranteed to be accurate.
1993 Black / Black Cobra #3929. V3 with a couple bolt-ons - 63,000 miles and counting....

here we go... "POP"
Hey seller, can you post some engine shots please?
Wow, thank you for the CarFax! Very Nice. I really appreciate that. Thank you all for the great advice about my car! At this point, I am really torn about keeping or selling my car.
Like I said in my original description, back when I bought this car, I could only go on what the seller was telling me, which was that it is actual mileage (showing 67k at that time). There was nothing on the title to point in either direction. And, he could not have been trying to make a profit because he was losing the car to the bank and sold it to me for the payoff. You see why I didn't care about mileage? I couldn't buy it fast enough and it is literally that one deal that we all dream about that never happens. That fact alone should be enough for me to keep it...
The car is in the form as it was when I bought it with the exception that I had the entire car painted, installed new tires, and tinted the windows (these were all done in 2012). I have also added a 3 row aluminum radiator and electric fan (2012). I rebuilt the entire A/C system (2012). Also, the car had 'pony' wheels on it when I bought it (you think you've seen ugly...?) as the seller decided to keep the 'Cobra R's' that were on it prior to my buying it. He didn't have the original Cobra wheels and I hunted for a few months and found an original OEM set. As I said in my description, it has exhaust mods (off road x, flowmaster) and the K/N conical filter.
At any rate, the car turned 20 about three weeks ago and I've owned it for 10. I've racked 16k miles on it in that time frame. Could 164k rack up in those first ten years? Sure. I just don't know the history of those first ten years. I am glad to know that there are no accidents reported to Carfax though. And, the VIN tags are in place. Even the one on the rear bumper which faces the ground behind the driver's rear tire is still in tact and quite possibly the most legible of the bunch. Thanks guys!
