Well, after 20 years the original starter solenoid decided it was time to leave the party. Got that bad boy swapped out and now I'm gonna give the car a bath!

Got a little over zealous and pretty much took out the entire interior this afternoon to thoroughly clean it. Upon taking out the back seat bottom I found these laying there...

If you look closely the bolts with the large shoulders have stripped threads on the ends...looks like an assembly line worker tried to unsuccessfully start the bolts and stripped them out...discarding them on the floor of the car as it went down the line. The other bolts with the washers look like they have never been used and the small screw has a cover over its threads...clearly it's never been used either.

Question is....what do the bolts/screws in the picture go to?

The 2 shoulder bolts i think are for the seat belts.

The seat belts that are attached to the floor of the car (in the middle of the car that pop up through the bottom seat cushion) used LARGE studs and nuts to secure them to the floor... much bigger than the ones in the pic.

The shoulder ones are for the seat bracket for the top of the seat.

My factory exhaust systems' days are numbered...headers, mid-pipe, and cat-back have been ordered. Should be on the car this time next week! :drive:
