I thought a "sleeper" was a car that is not supposed to be fast, but is?
Everyone expects our Cobras to be fast, so how does it "sleep"?
Now that I think about it, I wouldn't think that any Mustang could be a "sleeper".
Most people see Mustang, and automatically think "fast"
Just my thought.

I'd totally agree with you if it was still the late 80s and early 90s. Back then, a 5.0 powered Mustang was definitely not a sleeper. Nowadays, there are plenty of family sedans, etc. that can outrun a STOCK Mustang or Cobra.
However, a modded Cobra is another story. I routinely surprise drivers in their BMWs, Porsches, Camaros, Challengers, Mustangs (!), etc., etc. There's nothing better than the look on a driver's face in a late-model car packing way more than 235hp that just got spanked by a 20-year-old Fox body!! Now that's a sleeper!

Sleeper is a car that appears stock but isnt I will post up a pic of my reef coupe that everyone and there mother incuding the deaf thought was a sleeper. 225hp isnt fast in my book for 2013.

Pure sleeper, semi sleeper, etc.?!? Really? This is not rocket science. If a car looks basically stock and is a lot faster than expected, it's a sleeper. Simple as that.
