Dam your good..... Yes I bought the taillights. Only bc some dumbass bought 2 gridez for 300 so I had some extra loot. I thought stiles bought the tires eBay name was a***s.
Sidewalls on those truck tires don't pop like car tires. Some use airbags, pipes or high pressure air. Should be fine if they don't have dryroot he stored them correctly. Good buy f'er

John, this is a new trick instead of using either to explode the bead to seal on truck tires/ car tires so they will seal to air up. These are mostly used on lower profile tires also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLBRMpyU_Z0JohnLynch wrote:Ha, so what else did you just recently purchase on ebay that was 93 cobra related because you beat me out on another item....did you buy taillights?bdecoy wrote:Sorry you should be ok. The prob is the sidewalls break down and won't bead. But it you go to a old school tire shop they can mount them like tractor trailer tires. They have to know what their doing tho! BTW u out bid me at 500 ha!!
He assured me they are good to go so I will just cross my fingers. I do know an ole school tire shop but what do you mean mount like tractor trailer tires?

whats the date of the tires? i doubt they are 93s, they made the same tire for a long time , you look at the DOT date code. if the side wall doesnt seat you can use a ratchet tie down strap , go around the the center of the tire and crank it tight , it will force the sidewall out , once it catches air release the strap.

Yea I was curious about the date codes but got no response. There still available on tire rack but $800 so if the date code isn't for 93 then I'd rather have the new ones.

Nothing! My Cobra's been sitting in the garage since I left a car show early on Sep. 8 when my wife went into labor. I'll have to give my newborn son a hard time when he gets older for making me miss out on a trophy opportunity.

Heres what he told me the production date on the tires are the 32,34, and 37th week of 2004. He bought them in 2007. I think I am willing to roll the dice and say they should be fine. Guess I will find out when I take it down the road

Re: * What did you do to your Cobra today? *
You don't always get "new" tires from Tire Rack, etc., especially if the tire model you're looking to get is an older product like the Gatorbacks. I've had friends expecting to get newly manufactured tires from Tire Rack that were a few years old instead. The tires were perfectly fine -- just older than expected.SPEEDFREEK wrote:Yea I was curious about the date codes but got no response.
