Up for sale is my 1993 Cobra. I bought this car about 1.5 years ago with the intent of keeping it stock. It had ~88k miles and now has ~89.5k miles. 100% completely stock, I've been spending time restoring the car. A few of the things I've done include restoring the rims to factory color, replacing the stock cassette deck with a NOS piece, NOS headlights and fog lights, restoring/replacing body moldings and side mirrors, and general cleaning of the engine bay and under carriage. I don't need to sell the car, but I don't really have the time to spend on the car in the near future. I would rather someone else enjoy it. $12,000 firm. Please, no trades.

Eh.... I don't really have to sell it. I just don't like it sitting without being able to do what I want to do. Plus, my wife and I don't really feel anything for this Fox for some reason. But, a part of me still wants to keep the car since it is in very good shape and I wont feel too bad moddingand driving it since it has some miles on it already. If this does go, I might eventually pick up a low-mile teal w/ black or gray cloth.POOBLAH wrote:Good choice of buying the 93.... Sucks you gotta sell it!~

EDIT: And this is what I mean about good shape....
How many near 100k mile Cobras do you see with good quarter windows?

And a clean undercarriage?

Of course, I've been cleaning under there.

BLACK 93
can you post some interrior shots? and a engine bay shot?
And as an FYI, I've had a few people ask me about other problems and what it needs. I'll share a PM I sent to one person.
The paint isn't perfect. There are the hairline cracks on the hood that this generation Ford is known for and clearcoat issues on the front bumper and wing. Personally, I wouldn't rush on a paint job, but I would eventually do one for the exterior (IE not the door jams or engine bay).
It could use a clutch since it is ridding kinda high. I have a feeling the clutch is original since it looks like the H-pipe has never come off (IE the smog tube isn't messed with).
It is currently leaking from the front drain plug, but I have washers to fix that for the next oil change.
I recently turned the front rotors and bought NOS front pads. I have NOS rear pads just to match but it doesn't need them.
Chances are the shocks are probably worn, but it still handles well. I bought Monroe Sensatracs just in case, but they are not installed on the car at this point.

If I wasn't considering a GT500, I might have suggested a trade for a teal one.asperformance wrote:If it where closer I would already on it, I have too many teal cars, need a Black one, Car is very Clean. Wish you the best.
