WTB Cobra - Near DC preferred

Post by koala33 »

See title. motivated to buy. no more than $17K and not a ton of miles (<60k). must be all or mostly original and clean. no major Issues or flaws. prefer cloth - I personally think the cracked leather looks terrible - if the leather is great shape and there is a way to keep it from cracking that'd be ok. color no preference - not sure i can be that picky.

call me - (202) 420-0458 or PM me on here

I once owned a nice 89 and want to get back into a fox so I figured I would try to get a Cobra since they are getting rarer and rarer.

prefer DC area so I can drive it home. anything more than say 8 hours it getting kind of far and shipping costs will bring bring my total cost down for the car.

I have been scouring the Internet and have auto-RSS feeds setup for all of Craigslist so please exclude if listed there. Also exclude Ebay and autotrader since I check them every 6 hours or so. I told you I am a serious buyer looking looking for a nice all original cobra.

(Not Cobras, but you can appreciate my convertible I once had and my Dad's hathcback. There were about 18k mikes miles or so between both cars when when this was taken in 2009 or 2010)

Why the rush? It sometimes takes time to find the right car in this market. You may regret a hasty purchase.

I don't want to rush it but I don't want to be without a car. I mean I have another vehicle but my wife might need to use it. I can probably use it for a short time or look at getting a beater car but I would rather not... I may have about a week until I ship out my car.
