Factory c/d player for sale

Guys, I am selling a factory c/d player from my cobra. Just so happens I had one in my house and decided on putting it in the cobra. I am selling the one that was in it. I will try to post pics on here but would rather send them to whoever is interested in the radio via e-mail. I am asking $200.00 plus shipping but am open to offers. Give me an e-mail address if interested. The radio works perfect.

Junk yards sell them for $30 or so, wow $200.

I might start keeping all the OEM cd players that I can when I call around.

Damn, I wish I could get one for $30. I had to pay $100 for mine off of ebay and it still doesn't always read cd's the first time.. I called around every junkyard in this area they all told me they don't make cd players in DIM 1 size. I argued with them til it pissed them off.

Then after I got it, I felt like shoving it in their face and showing them in person but figured it wasn't worth it.

Thats cause you cant get them for $30.00. I guess if you can use the radio from another car like a taurus or any car with something similar. I put my price obo. My radio works perfect with no issues.

badboy have you must be drinking again? most junkyards around here want 100 minimum for anything oem.

Yea 93 Mustang CD players will do 2-300 easily. You can get the ones out of other Fords for 100-200 but the displays maybe a little off and you have to rig your lower tray to fit.

Another thing to remember is that just because they look the same...does not mean they are.
1993 Mustang CD players are specific to 1993 Mustangs ONLY. They are the first year to use that style of external amp and are NOT interchangable with earlier Premium sound systems unless you upgrade the amp and harness to 1993 specs. The deck has special brackets that are attatched to the case with rivets and spots for the cubby underneath. I tried running an F150 one (same in appearance) with mixed results.
I ended up buying a refurbished one from Ford and it lasted about a year before doing the signature skip and spit out the CD trait. It was a crappy player, I upgraded the whole system to a 95 Cobra Mach 460 setup back in the day and it worked MUCH better.

I just got done installing a 94 up style cd cass combo into one of my 93's Fits perfect where the original radio and tray goes, And it is a pretty stright forward install.
