1993 Mustang Cobra R #10 of only 107 built. This a street stock race car campaigned by Steeda and then D2 Strictly Biz Racing, an alliance between myself and Dario of Steeda after I purchased the car. Steeda claims this car to be the first Cobra R to win a competitive race in a street stock format. Strictly biz racing campaigned the car in the IMSA street stock Toyo Series formerly know as the Firehawk Series. We ran 2 races at Sebring, the first resulted in a valve problem when our driver missed a gear on the back stretch. The second race, the car was piloted by Peter Uria and Bart Hayes in a rained soaked endeavor that resulted in a 9th overall finish which was considered outstanding because we were down on power and fuel capacity to the firebirds. . The car was featured on the event t shirt the next year with a picture of the car coming down the front straight with the wipers engaged. The racing efforts of this car helped to formulate what was needed on the new 1995 Cobra R to be competivitve. Car comes with all original equipment that was removed for campaigning the car, such as wheels and tires, cats, window and koni shocks.
