Brett, what new 93 did you buy? You didn't snag that teal turboed auto with the blown headgasket in Denver for 4k last week did you?

No, I didn't get that car. I probably would have tried to get it if I saw it for sale on craigslist. Funny thing about that one is a good friend of mine was the original owner of that car, he did all the mods on it in the mid 90's and he drove that car every day - even in the snow like we had today. It had over 150K on it when he sold it last year to buy a new Saleen. Since then, it's been sold 3 more times. I don't know who ended up buying it.

lol, that's funny. Did that guy put that auto trans in it too?! :x

It got snatched up quick. It was for sale for $9-10k not too long ago, then all of a sudden it poped up on craigs for $4k with a blown head gasket and it was gone quick!

He did all the work to it including the trans. He actually got tired of driving the thing in traffic with a clutch, so he swapped it out for the AOD. I'm surprised that none of the people who bought it stuck the original tranny back in. When it sold for $8K this past summer, the original tranny was with it. I didn't even catch it on craigslist, someone else had told me about it.

I just fired off an email to you with some info on the new ride.

It sold in less than a couple hours. The ad didn't even stay on craigs for more than 5 hours. It's obvious that the kid who sold it was trying to move it quick.

Rear cover

Post by aaronlstiles »

Their was a Black rear Bumper on e-bay, I won the original cat back from him, but he will not respond, I talked to him once, gave him my shipping address for shipping price so I can just send full amount, and He has not replined in a week. I hope he follows through, I need that Cat back. If he does maybe he will be a reliable source for the rear cover.

i won the bid on that one i am still trying to get ahold of him myself.i won the auction for both items but the day before the auction was to end he sold the mounting bar to a guy who had bid on it a few weeks back and changed his mind about buying the items because of the shipping cost.the guy reposts the items and the guy ends up doing a backdoor deal while the auction is still going on.there was a bid placed within the first 2 hours of the auction and he thinks that by "editing"it means he can change the whole complection of the auction.i am still trying to resolve this matter with the seller and i told him that what he did is unethical but he seems to think it is well within his right to remove a main selling point of the said auction.i can't seem to get him to answer my phonecalls.

Rear Bumper

Post by aaronlstiles »

Can you send me his # He only called me once and I deleted his #, I need to try and resolve this Cat Back issue. I have some NOS 93 Cobra rear Brackets for the rear Cover, I can dig them out if you need them I bought them years ago. The rear bumper it's self is the same as a GT just the extensions are diferent.

we came to an agreement this guy is actually a pretty cool guy but was trying to appease a previous bidder and it backfired on him.there was no intent on his part to be deceitful .he is definately someone you can deal with if you ever buy something from him.
