But this morning, I had a bagel. Poppyseed, with whipped cream cheese. Was quite good, really.

Well, Jonny, let me tell you about what just happened here. Yes, you asked for NOS grey floor mats. You probably already knew that they sold for pretty big bucks on ebay and the like, but maybe you came around here hoping that one of the adults would slide you a set for 50 bucks. Who knows.

When nobody did, I thought it would be kinda funny to post a few pics of the red '93 Cobra floor mats that Ford never officially made for an interior color that never existed, but it was an attempt to lighten up the moment with a little levity. Levity means humor through frivolity, by the way, just in case you add that to the long list of things you take the wrong way.

I never intended to sell you my white elephant red floor mats, it was just a crack at humor, that's all. When I pointed that obvious fact out, you said "gotcha I know it was..." with the laughing smiley, which gave a strong indication that you knew it was a joke and you took it as such. So then I posted that I must not have had my oatmeal that morning. What that meant was that it was my bad for not picking up on the fact that you too were joking when you said that the red ones were no help to you, so duh on me.

Then you went completely off on me and spewed that angry and wildly inappropriate screed about how big a smart ass I am and how it must make me feel good to be one.

When you first started posting here, I gave several replies in your threads that were intended to be helpful, and I gave my own opinions about the plans you had for your car, both good and bad. I think you went off a little half-cocked on me back then, and maybe I should have realized that you were an angry, humorless hot head at that point, so we wouldn't have any more of these awkward little exchanges. But you needn't worry about me and my comments coming near you anymore, because I finally get it.

That would be cool! I'm still looking for the fabled blue Cobra floor mats, apparently they were listed as available at some point in the Ford system, but I've never so much as seen a picture of them or heard of anyone having a set. That would be one of the ultimate items in anyones' collection of weird '93 Cobra stuff.

I have a picture of the blue mats somewhere , I will try to find it, there were some on ebay about 2 years ago. I believe it was the same guy selling the red ones.
