Subframe Connectors

Post by Teal 93 »

I have #2759 and it has around 128K miles on it. The car is stock with no mods other than somebody wanted white gauge faces so they slapped some funky decals on them. I plan on putting new springs, Bilstein Struts and Shocks and going thru the front/rear end. Who has the best Subframe Connectors out there?

Thanks
Paul

Subframe connectors.

Unless you are road racing or making 800 rwhp, you don't need sub frame connectors! Hatch back cars are plent stong enough.

Highly disagree.

Hundreds of people have reported how stiffer their car felt after having full length subframes installed.

Frame Connectors.

Stiffer = Rides like crap! Just my opinion, like stated above. Why put Frame connectors on a stock Cobra?

If you want a bare set with no coating, they're less than $100.

They make a HUGE difference.

Have MM on mine, like their products. See a lot of their parts on cars at the track.

Sub Frames

Post by aaronlstiles »

With the Big 245 HP the stock 302 makes I am sure it needs them, LOL. Sorry but in My opinion, if the car is stock why Weld, or Drill holes to install something it does not need, Install some upper and lower control arms in the rear, or some better Suspension, I/ve never been a big fan of sub frame connectors. In a stock, NON drag raced car. Just my opinion is all.
